Diacerein in Wakfree is a potent and established IL-1 inhibitor which retards the progression of the disease and stimulates the process of regeneration.
Glucosamine is a physiologic substrate for the biosynthesis of Hyaluronic acid and glucosaminoglycan, which are used by chondrocytes for the biosynthesis of proteoglycans and of proteoglycan aggregates.
MSM in Wakfree is the rich source of natural sulphur which helps in synthesis of cartilage and possesses the potent anti inflammatory and analgesic property.
Therefore, WAKFREEarrests degenerationof cartilage,completes regeneration and reduces the pain in Osteoarthritis. Moreover even after discontinuation of treatment, the effect still remains for 2 to 3 months because of the carry over effects of the drugs.

Digestive Tract: Mild & very rare like Nausea, Vomiting, Dyspepsia & anorexia or diarrhoea.
Hypersensitive Skin Reactions: Very rare but redness, rash, Urticaria infrequently reported.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
One to two tablets per day along with meals for minimum period of 6 months.
